Fotosizer is a free image resizing tool that will help you to manipulate your digital photos in three easy steps—load image, set options, and go! Fotosizer supports batch processing, comes with preset sizes, and image effects like ‘Black and White’ and ‘Negative’. Conversion between various images formats is also supported—BMP, JPG, PNG, GIF and TIF.
Fotosizer helps to resize images by changing the percentage or the pixel size of the width and height of the image, instructs the program whether it should maintain the image’s aspect ratio, identifies the folder where the resized images need to be saved, specifies the image quality in percentage value, chooses the format of the output file names by using parameters such as new image width/height, current date, number of images in the list to be resized. Fotosizer also has the ability to resize both portrait and landscape photos at the same time and a preset list of sizes including iPod, iPhone, and Sony PSP screen sizes. Apart from its batch resizing capability, it has a batch rotation feature where all the images that have been selected can be flipped vertically or horizontally, rotated by 90 degrees clockwise or counter-clockwise. Additional applicable photo effects include options to convert images to ‘Black & White’ and ‘Negative’. There are various methods by which you can add your image selection to the Fotosizer list, browse for a single image or selection of images, select a folder, include sub folders adding from a folder, and drag and drop files or folders from your explorer window to the list.
